Congratulations Monica as you enter your Senior year at Seattle University. We’re all so proud of how far you have come! Your days of gymnastics on the balance beam to coaching your own gymnast. Your academic record and scholarly accomplishments! We wish you well and an exciting 2023-24 scholaryear!
Monica was the first Hga Scholarship Recipient in 2016 as she prepped her portfolio for her Junior year entrance apps to college. Hga Scholarship started in 2014 but we did not disburse funds till we could build up a reserve. Her seed money for college was minimal but allowed for opportunities to apply to colleges of her choice. Despite covid setbacks at Moanalua High and her beginning years of college which left her remote and online she’s on her way! Keep tuned in as she tells us more about her future endeavor!
